The year is over. I wasn’t sure until I heard some government officials confirm it on TV. I then checked my calendar to verify, and they were right! Let’s party.
By Christmas morning, I survived the shopping season. Hallelujah! You can never go wrong with socks.

Like us, some cats just want all the attention.
I can remember in elementary school when we would exchange Valentine’s Day cards. We’d have packs of these small cards and distribute them accordingly. I’ve always been a card person and still have birthday, Christmas, Halloween, and yes, Valentine’s Day cards stuffed away in various boxes.
In case you didn’t notice, it’s 2021. We’ve taken down the Christmas trees, finished burning the Kwanza candles, opened our swimsuit calendars, and entered a new year with a fresh and hopeful perspective. Some of us, anyway.
